Therefore, the education long-distance, that presents great advantages and severe limitations, that they need to be evaluated, analyzed and redimensionadas for the success of this important one and brought up to date modality of teach-learning, is capable to increase the possibilities of studies of the Brazilian population. In accordance with Guadamuz (1997), long-distance education will obtain to surpass the challenges in the measure where: either assured that the context of the permanent education is an essential component of the educative system; that it is a sistmico set that generates economies of important scale for the state; that the state makes investments in particular in the technological devices and in would reengenharia of the products; that it corresponds to the necessities and the situations of life of millions of users of the educative system and the productive system; that the nature of this modality of education is tied with the development of the technologies of the information and the telecommunication; that the public institutions of long-distance education incorporate the new approaches of the technological apparatus to be in the context of the interchanges of mundializados knowledge; – that the institutions collaborate and if they associate to find answers to the new demands technological; that long-distance education is accessible material and economically to the set of the citizens; that the institutions can transform its organizacional culture into function of the objectives that the changes present; that the institutions carry through research. .
